SACRED HEART CONVENT HIGH SCHOOL , KHAJURAHO was founded in 1986 under the management of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Destiture. The education imparted by the institution aims at taking in the whole aggregate of human life, physical and spiritual, intellectual and moral, individual and social, elevating, regulating and perfecting it.
Venerable Fr. Varghese Payapilly. The Founder of the congregation of the Sisters of the Destitute. Fr. Varghese Payapilly, founder of our congregation was born in 1876 in Kerala in the District of Ernakulam, Kochi. He had an urge to live for the poor and the marginalized. However the Lord called him to be a worthy instrument in his hands. He was ever ready to do the will of God and thus he became a priest in the year 1907.
